Extra Casting Call: "Teen Wolf"

If you know what a crosse is and what On-The Fly sub means, then you might just be the lacrosse player that Extras Casting Atlanta is looking for. The MTV hit series "Teen Wolf" is looking for real lacrosse players to be extras on the show. They are looking for males between 18-25 on January 18 and January 30-31. You MUST have experience playing lacrosse. If you are interested, submit your picture, age, height, weight, phone number and availability to: TeenWolfExtras@gmail.com and use Lacrosse in the subject line.

Filmed in Georgia: "Joyful Noise"

While Dolly Parton and Queen Latifah seem to be an unlikely musical pairing, these two music legends turned actresses are sharing the big screen in "Joyful Noise." The movie hits theaters this weekend and was filmed around the Atlanta area in 2011. "Joyful Noise" is about a small town choir preparing for a national choir competition. Dolly Parton and Queen Latifah play battling choir directors intent on winning. "Joyful Noise" is Dolly Parton's first film in almost 20 years. I have feeling this upbeat (and musical) movie will be a big hit at the box office.

Paula Deen Lightened Up

If you are a fan of Savannah's favorite celebrity chef Paula Deen and trying to cut back in the New Year, then the Cooking Channel has the right show for you. Paula's son, Bobby Deen is taking on the big challenge of lightening up his famous mother's butter heavy and calorie laden recipes. "Not My Mama's Meals" with Bobby Deen premieres on January 4 at 9 PM. I'm a huge fan of Paula and Bobby Deen so I'm looking forward to seeing this new show and getting a few new healthy recipes for 2012.

Check out this clip of Bobby Deen on ABC's The Chew talking a little bit about his mom and the new show.
