Casting Call: Iraq War Veterans Needed

There aren't a lot of details regarding this casting call but it certainly sounds interesting. One of the producers of the award-winning feature film "Snow On Tha Bluff" is looking for veterans returning home from Iraq or Afghanistan for an upcoming, documentary style feature. They are looking for veterans of all ages, races, and gender to speak about their life after returning home from battle.

If you are interested in participating in this project, please send the following information to fuzzylogic0101@gmail.com. Make sure you put "veteran" in the subject line.
- A brief description of yourself
- A few pictures or links to online videos of yourself
- Your age and address
- A quick description of where you served, some of your experiences and what it is you want to say to the world.

Crew Call: Reality Show Director

Georgia's new tax incentives are working and movie and television productions are coming to our state by the dozens. From what I'm hearing this fall is going to be another busy filming season in Atlanta and Georgia. A new reality show is scheduled to film in state starting in September and wrapping up by late October. Currently, the NY based production company behind this new series is looking for reality show directors. If you have experience directing reality shows, please send your resume to: cwresumes1234@gmail.com.

Filmed in Georgia: "The Odd Life of Timothy Green"

This week, Disney released "The Odd Life of Timothy Green" featuring Jennifer Garner and Joel Edgerton. Filmed mostly in Newnan and Decatur, the movie is written and directed by Peter Hedges, the writer behind "What's Eating Gilbert Grape," "Pieces of April," and "Dan in Real Life." The film features a childless couple struggling with infertility when one day a child, Timothy Green, appears on their doorstep. The cast also includes Rosemarie DeWitt, Dianne Wiest, Ron Livingston, and rapper Common.

I haven't had a chance to see this movie yet, but I have heard nothing but great things about this new classic from the Disney studio.
